JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Support Technician to join Jack's Family Restaurants support team!
This position is responsible for the support of restaurant facilities and technologies (such as point-of-sale systems, kitchen displays, printers, networking, and applications). The ideal candidate will have previous experience with troubleshooting technical issues in a fast-paced environment as well as excellent communication, organization and computer skills.
Candidates must be local to the Birmingham area or willing to relocate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Assist in the daily operations of the call center, handling facilities and technical support calls for Jack’s Family Restaurants.
· Respond to customer technical problems/issues related to hardware, software, and networking via e-mail, text, and phone and follow up on these issues.
· Use troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify issues.
· Monitor, track, and escalate tickets as needed to ensure all tickets are resolved in a timely manner.
· Collaborate and build relationships with other departments to resolve issues and improve support.
· Set up, configure, and repair equipment and technology as needed.
· Create and maintain documentation.
· Help warehouse manager with inventory management and auditing.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 or more years of experience in a Call Center or similar role.
· Strong computer skills and technical support experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient writing, typing, and documentation skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
· High attention to detail and great organizational skills.
· Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, walking, reaching, lifting to 50 pounds.
· Availability for nights and weekends required.
SCHEDULE:
· Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
· Business Casual Dress
· In person at local headquarters
